CalHired uses artificial-intelligence systems to help extract information, identify apparent requirements, organize evidence, generate draft materials, and prepare interview frameworks. AI systems can misunderstand documents, omit information, infer incorrectly, reproduce ambiguity, or generate inaccurate content.
What CalHired does
Uses user-provided and user-approved information to prepare informational analyses and drafts.
Separates apparent minimum-qualification alignment from competitive-fit guidance.
Attempts to trace generated statements to approved Career Profile evidence.
May identify missing information, conflicts, or posting-specific AI restrictions.
What CalHired does not do
Make an official eligibility, examination, ranking, or hiring determination.
Guarantee that source documents were complete or correctly interpreted.
Certify that a resume, statement of qualifications, cover letter, or response complies with every requirement.
Guarantee originality, acceptance, an interview, or employment.
Replace the user's independent judgment or a qualified professional.
Mandatory user review
You must read and verify the complete output before using it. Review every factual claim, date, employer, title, degree, certificate, metric, team size, result, job requirement, quotation, question, deadline, formatting instruction, and attachment. Remove or correct anything inaccurate, overstated, unsupported, incomplete, or prohibited.
You are solely responsible for the final content you submit and for deciding whether and how to use an output. Clicking an acknowledgement or downloading a document confirms only that you accepted responsibility for review; it does not mean CalHired certified the document.
Posting-specific restrictions
If a posting prohibits or limits AI assistance, do not use prohibited features or submit prohibited content. CalHired may disable generation, but you remain responsible for reading and following the posting. Attempts to bypass a detected restriction may result in suspension.
Evidence and edits
Only evidence marked as confirmed or user-added is intended for generated materials. Manual edits are treated as user-supplied wording. If you add or alter facts in a generated document, you must ensure they are accurate and consistent with your Career Profile and application.
No outcome or accuracy warranty
Scores, labels, recommendations, and interview questions are estimates based on the available information. They may change if source materials or Career Profile evidence changes. Do not treat a score as proof that you are or are not qualified.
