CalHired is a guided application platform for California state jobs. It is built around one idea: decide whether a position is worth pursuing before you spend hours writing.
Why we built it
California state job postings are long, the duty statement often matters more than the posting itself, and the required written response can take hours. Many applicants spend that time on positions they were never competitive for, and skip positions where they would have been a strong candidate.
CalHired reverses the order. You build a verified Career Profile once, then evaluate each position against it. If the evaluation says the fit is weak, you have your answer in minutes rather than after a full afternoon of writing.
What we will not do
- • We do not invent qualifications, employers, dates, or results. Every statement traces back to something you approved.
- • We do not tell you that you are eligible. Only the State of California makes that determination.
- • We do not submit applications, contact departments, or speak for you.
- • We do not publish testimonials, success rates, or customer counts we cannot substantiate.
